Coherence Therapy For Chronic Pain, & Mind-Body Syndromes. 2.5 Hour Learning Experience.

Coherence Therapy, Chronic Pain, & Mind-Body Syndromes.

Are chronic pain and other mind-body syndromes caused only only by repressed emotions?

Dr. John Sarno pioneered mind-body medicine by showing that chronic pain can be driven by the brain and nervous system rather than tissue damage alone. Coherence Therapy for chronic pain and mind-body syndromes builds on this understanding by helping identify and update the emotional learnings (schemas) that may be maintaining symptoms.

Questions

What is TMS- Tension Myositis Syndrome?

Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS), a term coined by Dr. John Sarno, refers to chronic symptoms that are driven by changes in the brain and nervous system rather than ongoing tissue damage. Today, TMS is often referred to as Mind-Body Syndrome or Neuroplastic Pain. These symptoms are real, but they are maintained by learned neural pathways, protective responses. Common TMS symptoms are- chronic back pain, pelvic pain, chronic fatigue, migraines, IBS, and more.
